ABOUT

Cervolve is a Montreal based platform biotech dedicated to transforming how we understand and treat neurodegenerative disease. By integrating human genetics, machine learning, and systems biology, we are building lipid AI models to uncover the mechanistic underpinnings of lipid metabolism in the brain and translate them into therapeutically actionable insights. Our platform integrates diverse data modalities across biological scales from single cell data to whole brain imaging to define lipid pathways that drive neurodegenerative risk and disease progression.

Lead AI Researcher / Head of Computational Biology

• •Ideal Profile: Assistant Professor level. 5 to 10 years of research experience in AI applied to biology (counting from the start of their PhD).
• •The Role: A core contributor to the company moving forward.
• •Expertise & Tech Stack: Python and AI coding tools. Must sit at the interface of computational science and biology able to understand the biology, generate novel hypotheses, and test them using cutting edge machine learning methods.
• •Working Style: Highly independent. Able to drive their own direction and not need to be dictated what to do.
• •Logistics: ~$150,000/year along with equity. Open to remote work for the right candidate.
